DENTISTRY IN TURKEY -

   Though most of us know how to take care of our teeth, it is still a good idea to have a checkup once a year. For some, the thought of visiting a dentist's office is intimidating, but with changes in the way many procedures are performed today, a visit to the dentist's office does not have to be unpleasant. With regards to children, it is usually a good idea to introduce them to their dentist (Dişçi) and his/her office, well ahead of any possible dental emergencies.

As in most parts of the world there are no fixed prices for dental work in Turkey. Be sure to agree to the fees charged in advance of your visit. Most private insurance companies will not cover your dentist invoice and you should be prepared to pay this expense from your own pocket.

PORCELAIN & RESIN VENEERS:BONDING
When people speak of “bonding” their teeth to make them look better, they are usually referring to either porcelain or resin veneers. Veneers cover only the outside portion of the tooth, the part that shows when you smile or talk. 

PORCELAIN INLAYS & OUTLAYS
When a tooth has been moderately to extensively destroyed by decay, previous drilling, or fracture but there is still sufficient enamel remaining, one innovative way it can be restored is with a porcelain inlay or onlay. 

IMPLANT
Implants are another alternative for replacing missing teeth. Implants are artificial roots attached into the jaw bone and hold the bridges or replacement teeth. Implants are preferred by many patients because they are very natural and act like your own teeth. more

WHITER TEETH
The least damaging and most conservative way of making your teeth lighter is with the use of a whitening solution. Contrary to what you might think, brushing your teeth harder with an abrasive toothpaste will not make your teeth whiter..
