       Reaching Bolu Province is quite easy, as the city is located nearly at the middle point of the highway, which connects the two major cities, Ankara and Istanbul. According to the written documents, archeological works and historical sources, history of the Bolu Province starts with the Bithynians. Later Romans, Byzantines, Seljukians and Ottomans had dominated the region respectively.
