       We invite you to spend an eco holiday at Pastoral Valley near Fethiye.

A holiday with a difference staying in the peace and quiet of Pastoral Valley, an organic farm where you will live in buildings made of stone, wood or mud-brick; designed on ecological principles and available twelve months of the year.

Our ten-acre site, which has organic certification, produces the ingredients for meals from our Mediterranean kitchen where everything is cooked on wood fires, using earthenware and copper pots and pans. Vegetarian food is also available.

In the daytime you can explore nearby islands and bays by boat; take walks along a canyon shaded by liquid ambar trees to the source of our icy river; try your hand at traditional crafts such as kilim weaving, pottery making and wood carving.

ACCOMMODATION AT PASTORAL VALLEY
In total we can accommodate a maximum of 45 guests in wooden houses on the banks of the Kargı River together with stone and mud brick houses which are available all year. All our buildings have been constructed to ecological architectural standards.

Stone houses
These are two-storey and can be let as a whole or as two separate floors. The ground floor has one double bedroom whilst upstairs there are two. Each floor has a bathroom and small kitchen together with a large outdoor terrace. The ground floor units are suitable for people with disabilities.

Mud brick houses
These are constructed of hand -made mud bricks on a wood frame- a traditional architectural form in this region. Each house has two double bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen indoors with a wide veranda outside. In summer both stone and mud brick houses are naturally cool, in winter they are heated by wood-burning stoves.

Wooden houses
Located in a grove of trees on the banks of the Kargı River that forms one of the boundaries of Pastoral Valley farm, there are one and two-roomed wooden houses with bathroom indoors and small kitchens on the outdoor verandas.

In all houses organic waste, grey and black water is recycled.
